Got my coffee stuff quick

Needed a new Milk Frothing Pitcher and decided to try For Days Coffee. It came pretty fast, like four days. The pitcher is nice, good weight to it. Easy to order, no fuss. Happy with it.

Mostly good experience

I bought an Espresso Puck Screen and a WDT Tool. Both arrived well-packaged and seem to be of good quality, definitely improved my espresso shots. Delivery was a bit slower than I expected, took almost a week, but not a huge deal. Customer service was helpful when I inquired about the shipping delay. The website could use a clearer shipping timeline estimate at checkout. Overall, a positive experience and I'd consider buying from them again.

Decent espresso accessories

I ordered a Calibrated Tamper and a Dosing Funnel. The ordering process was straightforward on their site. Delivery took about 5 days to reach Denver, which was reasonable. The tamper feels well-made and the dosing funnel fits my portafilter perfectly. I had a quick question about cleaning the tamper and their customer service responded within a day. Overall, satisfied with the quality of the items and the experience.

Good value on portafilter

I was looking for a bottomless portafilter and found a good deal here. The price was competitive, especially with the first order discount. Shipping was free since my order was over $50. It felt like a solid purchase for the money I spent.

Thinking of grabbing a portafilter and tamper. Is there usually a first order discount or something for signing up for emails?

A Alex H. 2 months ago

Yep, pretty sure they do a 10% or 15% off for signing up. Worth it for sure.

A Alex 2 months ago

They almost always have a signup bonus. Just pop your email in on the site, should get a code.

Thinking about getting the bottomless portafilter but I'm also looking at the one from Normcore. Any thoughts on which one is better?

L Lisa J. 3 months ago

I have the For Days one and it's been great. Feels really well made and the handle is super comfortable. Can't speak for Normcore directly, but I'm happy with this.

My buddy has a Normcore and likes it, but I prefer the aesthetic of the For Days stuff. Build quality seems comparable for both, honestly.

Is For Days Coffee a real company? Never heard of them before but their stuff looks good.

F Faith Torres 2 months ago

Totally legit. I've bought a few things from them, always good quality and fast shipping.

Yeah, they're not a scam. Got my WDT tool from them, it's solid. Good customer service too when I had a question.

Is there free shipping if I just order a small item, like a puck screen?

R Rachel 2 months ago

Nah, you usually have to hit a certain amount for free shipping. I think it's over $50.

4

M Marcus J. 2 months ago

Pretty sure it's free shipping on orders over 50 bucks. For a puck screen only, you'd probably pay shipping.

Can you use more than one coupon code at checkout? Like if I have a holiday deal and a free shipping code.

D Daisy 2 months ago

Nah, usually it's just one coupon code per order. Free shipping usually applies automatically if you hit the spend amount though, doesn't need a code.

T Tara Kaur 2 months ago

I tried stacking once, didn't work. It's almost always one code only for most online stores these days.

How are returns handled if the portafilter doesn't fit my machine? Is it a pain?

J Jared Beaumont 3 months ago

I had to return a dosing cup once, it was pretty straightforward. Just follow their return process on the site, I think you usually pay for return shipping though.

R Ryan R. 3 months ago

Yeah, they're pretty good about it. Just make sure you check their return window, don't wait too long.

hey, was looking at that calibrated tamper. does it really work for all 58mm baskets? some brands are a bit finicky.

S Sarah Doyle 2 months ago

Yeah, I have the 58.5mm one, and it's been great. Fits my IMS basket perfectly. You just gotta make sure to get the right size for your specific basket diameter.

5

N Noor E. 2 months ago

Mine works on my VST basket, no issues at all. They usually specify the actual measurement so you can double check if your basket is truly 58mm or like, 58.3mm or something.

Does anyone know if their products are actually like, professional grade? Or more for home baristas?

S Sam Carter 2 months ago

I'd say definitely pro-level for home use. The quality on my WDT and tamper is top-notch, feels very durable. I wouldn't hesitate to use it in a cafe setting if I had to.

2

J James H. 2 months ago

They're really good, way better than a lot of starter kits. I wouldn't call it 'pro-grade' in the sense of a super high-end commercial setup, but for home espresso, it's excellent and precise.
